Prohibition and restriction on the importation of radio equipment and radiating devices

The placing of radio equipment and radiating devices on the market shall be subject to compliance with technical regulations.

Types of radio equipment and radiating devices with a low level of compliance with the essential requirements of the Technical Regulation on Radio Equipment shall be included in the Register of Radio Equipment and Radiating Devices.
This Register is maintained by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and the Provision of Postal Services.

The placing on the market of radio equipment and radiating devices with a low level of compliance with the essential requirements of the Technical Regulation on Radio Equipment, as determined by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and the Provision of Postal Services, shall be permitted on the basis of the inclusion of their type in the Register of Radio Equipment and Radiating Devices.

In the case of radio equipment and radiating devices intended for use by general users of the radio frequency resource, placing on the market shall be permitted provided that such type is not included in the relevant list of radio equipment and radiating devices prohibited for use and importation into the territory of Ukraine and/or in accordance with the special procedure for maintaining the Register of Radio Equipment and Radiating Devices.

Each unit of radio equipment or radiating device (product) shall be accompanied by a declaration or simplified declaration of conformity with the technical regulations.
