The restriction applies to face masks produced during the 12-month period as defined in the agreements. The actual commencement date of the export restriction differs from grantee to grantee, but generally falls in Q2 of 2020. - Mécanisme administratif

The export restriction is imposed on the Grantees as a contractual obligation under the agreements between the Government and the Grantees with a view to alleviating the local supply shortage of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
