Administrative mechanism
Objects listed as Class A on the National Cultural Heritage Control List (the list) are prohibited exports. Objects listed as Class B on the list may be exported if granted a permit. Foreign cultural heritage may be imported with an export permit, or a letter of clearance issued by the country of origin.
