Administered by Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), Forestry Department of Sabah, Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) Department of Agriculture Sabah, and Department of Agriculture Sarawak.

This measure was mutually agreed by Malaysia and Indonesia in order to prevent illegal logging, including through the letter from Indonesia’s Forestry Department dated 1 November 2005. (S.1213/II-KLN/2005).
