Prohibition on the importation of species, including offspring and eggs, designated through statute or regulation to be injurious to human beings, to the interests of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, or to wildlife or the wildlife resources of the United States, with some exceptions.
National legal basis
The Lacey Act of 1900, as amended (18 U.S.C. 42).
