Conditional prohibition on the importation of tobacco products, leaf or refuse and water-pipe tobacco and absolute prohibition on the importation for sale of tobacco for chewing or any other oral use other than smoking
Administrative mechanism
Tobacco products, tobacco leaf and tobacco refuse and water-pipe tobacco are prohibited imports and require a permit to import. A permit is not required to import cigars, cigarillos, chewing tobacco, snuff and snus.
