Prohibition to import/export ozone destroying substances (excluding goods in transit) (all EAEU countries)

Import/export of these ozone destroying substances from/to the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union is permitted only in the following cases:
_to be used solely as a raw material for the production of other chemicals;

special cases of its utiliazation specified in Monreal Protocol

_ transit of these substances trought the territiory of the EEU from countries and to countries witch are the Parties of Monreal Protocol of 16 September 1987

Not required to obtain a license for the import and (or) export:

- By individuals for personal use products containing ozone-depleting substances;

- Depleting substances transported with the vehicle for the purpose and in the amount necessary to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and technical devices of air, sea (river), a railway vehicle, including refueling, refueling refrigeration, air conditioning, firefighting equipment, other equipment and technical devices for which operation in
accordance with the specifications required ozone-depleting substances.




Import / export of products subject to the prohibition if it contains ozone destroying substances listed earlier, except the following situations:

_its transit through the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union from/to States, which are States Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, 16 September 1987

_portable fire extinguishers containing substances CF2BrCl (Halon 1211) Bromochlorodifluoromethane 2903 76 100 0
CF3Br (Halon 1301) Bromotrifluoromethane 2903 76 200 0 C2F4Br2 (Halon 2402) 1,1,2,2-Dibromotetrafluoroethane 2903 76 900 0
