Plastic explosives
National legal basis
The Customs Act 1901, Regulation 4AA of the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 and the Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth) (Criminal Code).
Administrative mechanism
The importation of plastic explosives is prohibited unless the Minister for Home Affairs has issued a permit and, if applicable, an authorisation is provided under the provisions of the Criminal Code.
