Pursuant Article XI, paragraph 2(a) of GATT 1994 and in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 1 of the Agreement on Agriculture, an export restriction was introduced with the aim to prevent critical shortage in sudden decline of domestic sales. In this connection, the exportation of sugar over 1,000 kilograms shall have the export license issued by the Central Committee of the Price of Goods and Services.
The measure is effective from 2 November 2023 to 14 November 2023.
