The United Kingdom withdrew from the European Union as of 1 February 2020. The European Union and the United Kingdom had communicated that during the transition period, which ended on 31 December 2020, European Union law, with a few limited exceptions, continued to be applicable in the United Kingdom. See documents WT/LET/1462 and WT/GC/206 . Since 2021, the United Kingdom had separately submitted notifications to the Committee. All notifications prior to this time, have been submitted by the European Union.
