A person can export overseas a reasonable amount of drugs purchased under prescription for the personal treatment of the exporter or another person, such as a relative, accompanying the exporter. Medication purchased under prescription, in respect of which a Commonwealth benefit has been paid, in excess of this reasonable amount is prohibited from being exported.
