Regulation for the Management and Control of HCFC and HCFC blends 2010 was repealed.
A National Import Licensing system under which all importers are required to obtain a permit from the Government in order to import refrigerators. For the import of HCFC, an annual quota of 22 (according to HCC Phase out Schedule of Maldives) is set and an importer is selected for each year.
Regulation for Protection on the Ozone Layer was passed under the Ozone Protection Act. - Entidades responsables
