Prohibition of imports of rough diamonds from non-participants of the Kimberley Process
Registration of traders and Kimberly Process Certificates for the import of rough diamonds

Import and Export (General) Regulations, Cap. 60
Administrative mechanism
The restriction is administered through a registration system for rough diamond traders and an import certificate scheme system to fulfil the obligations under the Kimberley Process.
Registered rough diamond traders can import rough diamonds from countries or places on the list of specified countries permitted by the Kimberly Process.
